Load Notification System

LNS is our newest program, designed to enhance productivity not only for us, but for the carriers chosen to deliver your units.

Here are the advantages of the program:
This program is available through the World Wide Web, and accessible by our customers as well as the carriers involved.

Once ALT has completed the load building process and the decision has been made as to which loads will be given to the designated carriers the information may be viewed in two ways:

1 The carriers can be notified by
e-mail that they have loads available through ALT Port Services.
2 Through a web site designed with your logo, that the carriers can view there information, regarding loads, provided by a routing guide methodology.

Once they enter the web site, there will be a list of loads available for them to select and view. Once they have selected a load they will be able to set a pick up date and delivery date(s).

Once these selections have been submitted a printable confirmation page will be presented containing all the shipment information. The confirmation page will include dealer information, unit information including weight, model and serial numbers, and a load reference number.

This page can be printed and kept as a hard copy reference for the load. Loads can be accessed in the system using the reference number at any time.

The load selection process also includes the ability for the carrier to enter their date and time of delivery for each stop associated with the chosen load. When this information is submitted the date and time will be compared with the required performance guidelines of the customer. If the delivery date and time are outside the predefined performance standards the user will be informed of the discrepancy and requested to make the necessary changes.

Carriers can also deny any of the loads presented to them when they log into the system. Should a load be denied a report will be sent to BDS and the customer notifying them of the denial.

Once the appointment schedule is accepted the load is assigned a pick up number that the carrier can use when he arrives at the ALT facilities. This also provides the carrier with a record of the load information. This information will be available for BDS as well as the customer. Online reports will be available in the system containing all the above information.

This new program will help the customer, the carriers and ALT plan better. This translates to efficiency, accuracy and cost savings for all.
